Krae Glas has a slightly different schedule in April, since many of our members (& officers!) will be off wayfaring!
Our April Crafthall & Potluck has been moved to be a week later than normal & there is no confirmed class at this stage, but the time, place & dinner plans remain unchanged! We will be at The Dolphin’s Keep (24 Mons Parade, Noble Park) from 2pm til late with tales from Rowany Festival (& other adventures) & casual crafting (BYO or help work on the Baronial throne cushions), with a potluck dinner around 5-6pm!
Likewise, our Council meeting has moved in order to remain “the Tuesday after Crafthall” (the 21st from 7:30pm) & will be held via Zoom. Link & further details will be released closer to the date.
Fortunately, NONE of our Thursday Night Gathering & Training nights have been cancelled at this stage! The Dolphin’s Keep will be open every week this month from 7-10pm on the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th! As there will likely be fewer fighters than average training locally in the first half of the month, we encourage you to join the Dolphin’s Keep group on Facebook for more detailed updates regarding both heavy & rapier training.
Our Fibre Guild meetup on Thursday the 2nd (in the back room of the Dolphin’s Keep – same details as above), will also go ahead as normal! Bring your spinning, weaving, nålebinding, knitting or other fluffy projects & come along for a chat!
Our April Archery Training is also unaffected, running from 1-4pm on Sunday the 19th at Noble Park Secondary College! This month is a combat-friendly training (blunt arrows only), which means that heavy fighters are welcome to join us for an extra training session AND that we might get to shoot arrows at people!
Last, but certainly not least, we are excited to announce that we have TWO upcoming events!
On the 10th of May, the King & Queen of Lochac will be joining us for a Royal Brunch & on the 21st of June our Archery Champion is hosting the Midwinter Hunt! We will share more about these upcoming events soon.
For more detailed information on any of this month’s activities, please see the relevant Facebook event pages or our website.
