Krae Glas October 2025 Upcoming Events.

October brings a very exciting event to Krae Glas!

From midday on Sunday the 19th we are hosting the long-awaited third Ironbeard Archery Challenge at Noble Park Secondary College!

This wonderful event is shared between both Krae Glas & Stormhold & is held in honour of the late Lord Roland Ironbeard who was a renouned archer in both Baronies. As well as competing for the championship title (currently held by The Honourable Lord Gillucan ua Tomaltaig), there will be novelty shoots for archers of all skill levels, a potluck lunch & lots of fun! Please note that this is a garbed event & we ask that you wear an attempt at pre-17th century clothing. If you need to borrow garb or festing gear, please reach out to our Event Steward or Chatelaine (there will be bows & arrows available to borrow at the event).

On Saturday the 9th we will have our monthly Crafthall & Potluck from 2pm until late at The Dolphin’s Keep (24 Mons Parade, Noble Park). This month Baroness Margie will be teaching basic Sprang Weaving, which is a very easy & enjoyable craft! For Crafthall, Potluck & Sprang Weaving Class you will need some cotton twine & a Sprang Weaving loom, which is simple to DIY (keep an eye out for a post with instructions soon!). We will also have a few kits available for purchase on the day (price TBA), but they will be first come, first serve!

Our Council Meeting will be held via Zoom on Tuesday the 14th at 7:30pm. More details to come closer to the date.

Lastly did you know that THREE people who regularly train with us on Thursday nights made it to the 6th round of the most recent Crown Tournament? Or that two of them even made it to the 9th round (tied for 4th place)? Want to know how they did so well? The only way to find out is to come along to our Thursday Night Gathering & Training, held every week (the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th), from 7pm at The Dolphin’s Keep!

All our activities this month are newcomer-friendly & none require booking. For more information on any of our events, please see our website or the relevant Facebook event pages.
